Edwin C Laird (nlaird@cargofacts.com)

Mr. Laird has more than 37 years of experience related to the airline in­dus­try. He began his career in 1966 with Seaboard World Airlines where he held the position of District Manager-Midwest. Mr. Laird later held man­age­ment positions in the cargo sales departments at Swissair and Overseas National Airways where he gained expertise in U.S. and in­ter­na­tional airline operations and cargo market requirements. In 1974 he left ONA to become a manager in the Air Freight Systems Development de­part­ment at Boeing. In that capacity Mr. Laird was responsible for sales campaigns for the 747-200 freighter, and he worked on container systems development for main deck and lower deck applications.

Mr. Laird left Boeing in 1978 and founded Air Cargo Management Group to pro­vide consulting services to the air freight and express industry, which had just undergone deregulation in the U.S. Mr. Laird has directed ACMG's efforts during the past years, and as Managing Director, he is actively involved in all phases of the company's operation.

Mr. Laird attended Boston University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration specializing in International Finance.

Robert V. Dahl (rdahl@cargofacts.com)

Mr. Dahl has 32 years of experience in the aviation industry. He presently holds the position of Project Director at Air Cargo Management Group.

In his role as Project Director, Mr. Dahl manages many of the firm's client projects, particularly those involving aircraft capability and performance evaluation. Additionally, Mr. Dahl is Associate Editor of Cargo Facts news­letter.

Before joining ACMG, Mr. Dahl was employed for 20 years by the Boeing Company where he held a number of engineering and management po­si­tions in that company's Commercial Aircraft and Advanced Systems Divisions.

Mr. Dahl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Harris is the Editor of the company's monthly newsletter Cargo Facts and weekly e-mail news Update. He brings over 20 years of experience in print journalism and graphic design to ACMG.

Alan Hedge (ahedge@cargofacts.com)

Alan Hedge joined ACMG in 2006 as an Analyst. He has years of ex­per­ience in the airline industry in a variety of financial and consulting roles from fleet analysis to regulatory and competition analysis. He started his aviation career in 1989 at American Airlines. He left in 1999 to become Research Director at The Campbell-Hill Aviation Group in the Washington, DC area. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Richard C. Berry (r.c.berry@earthlink.net)

Mr. Berry is Air Cargo Management Group's Analyst for the Asia/Pacific region and Editor Emeritus of Cargo Facts, the publication he founded in 1981. His career in the air freight and distribution sectors spans more than 40 years, including a distinguished military career with the U.S. Air Force.

Prior to his association with ACMG, he served as general manager of a Part 401/418 U.S. domestic cargo airline. Mr. Berry holds a BSBA degree in Airline and Airport Management from Denver University and an MBA con­cen­trat­ing in Transportation Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Berry works on Asia and Pacific Basin cargo aviation and international trade matters from his office in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Jackie Edinger (jedinger@cargofacts.com)

Ms. Edinger is the Office Administrator at Air Cargo Management Group, a role she has ably filled since 1981. She also is Circulation Manager for Cargo Facts.

Marquita Fortner (mfortner@cargofacts.com)

Ms. Fortner is ACMG's Conference Manager. She is responsible for the coordination and on-site management of the annual Cargo Facts Aircraft Symposium and ACMG's Air Cargo and Freighter Aircraft Workshop. Prior to joining ACMG, she was Operations Officer at Phoenix Sky Harbor Int'l Airport. She holds a BS in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle and a Masters in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics from George Mason University.
